“Where We Live and What We Live For” is a series of narrations and little performances by Peter and Simon Bowes; a meditation on the complex and changeable relationship between father and son. Drawing upon their family archives, Simon (29) and Peter (74) shore up a few fragments that suggest who they have been, who they are, and, perhaps, shall be. Inventing what they cannot remember, they make fictions that become points of convergence between them, and drink a toast to love, loss, happiness and the passing of time.
